To get a real quick technical, Wix.com define “landing page is a page with a specific target: to get visitors to complete the action.” This means that your landing pages targeted to an audience with one goal: to get them to convert.
Do not confuse this with the homepage, designed to appeal to multiple audiences and convey information to anyone who is interested in your overall brand.
The purpose of the landing page you have to get the conversion. Whether it’s signing up for a newsletter, subscribe to your blog, download an ebook, you enroll in online courses, etc. That’s it. All copy, images and layout support that one single goal. Less is more in this case.
With this in mind, the landing page you need to answer four questions:
What were they?
What are the benefits?
Why does your audience need your offer now?
How do they get an offer?
The fourth question to explain to your readers what they get from you when they sign up and why they can not live without your offer, while also creating a sense of urgency on the page easily convert.
